Cute and mid-sized? Doesn't sound like middle school to me. When they seem belligerent and moody, I'll believe it.
Well, I'm sure their mama has a different opinion. From her perspective it is all "feed me, feed me, feed me." But better cute and mid-sized than small and reptilian. They were a little creepy as babies. The mockingbirds, not the young Sparklings.
